Rule 99
Departmental investigation not required
In the following cases, departmental punishment is not required to be investigated:-
(a) In case of general punishment as per clause (a) of section 81 of the Act.
(b) In case of departmental punishment to the employee whose escape is not found or it is impossible to establish contact due to any other reason.
(c) If the employee has to be given departmental punishment on the basis of being found guilty by the court in a criminal charge of moral turpitude.
(d) If the employee who has been found guilty by the court on charges of corruption is to be punished departmentally.
